What is
Myofascial Release (MFR) is a science-based form of bodywork that targets the connective tissue (fascia) that wraps every muscle, joint and organ. When fascia becomes restricted - from injury, chronic posture, surgery or simple aging - the entire kinetic chain can lock down. MFR releases that restriction layer by layer. Unlike fast-stroke Swedish or pressure-driven deep tissue, MFR uses slow, sustained, low-load contact - typically 90 seconds to several minutes per area - to allow the fascial network to soften and reorganize. The result is dramatic improvements in flexibility, range of motion, posture and overall freedom of movement. MFR is gentle compared to deep tissue but the post-session changes can be profound: a shoulder that finally lifts, a low back that finally extends, a neck that finally rotates without grinding.
